The President of Ukraine signed the Law of Ukraine \u2116 1421-VIII “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Concerning the Share of Musical Works in the State Language in the Programs of Television and Radio Organizations”<\/p>\n
According to the law, TV and radio companies must provide a share of songs in the state language in the amount of not less than 35% of the total volume of songs distributed during the day, as well as not less than 35% of the total volume of songs distributed in each period between 7.00 and 14.00 and between 15.00 and 22.00.<\/p>\n
The law enters into force four months after its publication.<\/p>\n
From the date of entry into force of this Law, the minimum share of programs in the state language must be at least 50% during the first year, at least 55% during the second year, and at least 60% during the third year.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
